Pure Cow Ghee Artisanal · C...

The Farm

Village Tanda Vijaisi, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. A 100-year-old family farm that has been producing milk the traditional way across generations. Founder Nikki Pilania-Chaudhary returned to revive and scale this heritage with the same principles intact — no compromise on the method, no shortcut in the process.

The Method

Aritisanal Cultured is not a marketing word at VOLD. It is the actual process:

  • Fresh cow milk is collected and set into curd naturally.
  • The curd is churned to separate white makhan (butter).
  • The makhan is slowly heated over low heat until golden ghee separates and clarifies.
  • The ghee is filtered and poured into food-grade glass jars.

This process takes nearly a full day per batch. Industrial ghee takes under an hour. The difference is in what stays in the jar.

— 1 spoon in warm water first thing in the morning (traditional Ayurvedic practice)
— Over hot rice or dal just before eating — the ghee carries flavour and aids digestion
— For high-heat cooking — bilona ghee has a high smoke point and handles heat without breaking down
— Warm milk with a spoon of ghee before sleep — classical Ayurvedic bedtime ritual
— Applied gently on skin or cracked heels — an old practice, still a good one

Storage: Does not need refrigeration. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best before 12 months from date of packaging.
